Christopher Lim - Chief Academic Officer 

Dr. Christopher Lim holds a PhD in Management specialized in Leadership and Organizational Change with Walden University and a Master’s in International Marketing from University of Strathclyde. He is a college professor with San Jose State University's College of Business, School of Global Innovation and Leadership. He is a Master Teacher awarded by San Jose State in 2018 and 2019. He teaches International Business, Operations Management, Procurement and Purchasing, and Total Quality Management courses. He is also a faculty member with Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont and teaches Management and Marketing courses for both undergraduate and MBA programs. He volunteers with St. Gregory Catholic Church as a Religious Education teacher. Leveraging on his more than two decades of public speaking experience as a global executive and an educator in higher education, he founded E.A.S.E.Education with the aim to teach our GEN-Z population the soft skills of communication, Artificial Intelligence, and Entrepreneurship. He is an avid runner, plays the guitar, and a passionate family man.

Paula Lim - Public Speaking & Debate Instructor

Paula Lim joined Evolution Academic Speaking Excellence as an instructor in Spring 2018. She holds an M.A. in TESOL at Teachers College. Started her educational career as an English as Second Language (ESL) teacher at Bradford College in Massachusetts, she found her passion in teaching children. When she was offered a position as an elementary school ESL teacher for the Newton Public Schools, she joined Newton as an elementary teacher. She has worked with students from K through 5th-grade at various English language levels and from various nationalities. She thoroughly enjoyed working in the elementary school setting. Her family relocated to Colorado and she subsequently secured a position as an ESL teacher at Fort Lupton Middle School. Her first year with Fort Lupton was teaching 7th-grade ESL classes as well as a Spanish Literacy class. The following year she moved up with her students and was assigned as the 8th-grade ESL teacher. She is also an ESL instructor at the TALK International Institute comprised of adult learners. In addition to teaching writing, public speaking and debate for E.A.S.E., she also teaches English and Spanish in the Bay Area.

Tristen Gann - Robotics Instructor

Tristen Gann is a scholar of Pure Mathematics at San Francisco State University. He has the accolades of Captain and Most Valuable Player of the Year from his activity in Academic Decathlon at Pacifica High School. He has experience as a computer technician at the California Public Utilities Commision. He also has proficiency in programming and has made online websites, web applications, and games. He is an Officer at Large in the Futurist Society at San Francisco State University, which focuses on the development of technologies for the future, and humanitarian applications of these burgeoning technologies. He is an ardent supporter of the scientific method, and the progression of technology and science in tandem, towards a more developed and educated society. For recreation, he programs, reads and debates philosophy, writes stories, and composes musical scores.

Larry Elkins

Public Speaking & Debate Instructor

Larry Elkins is a published author of the Concept of Love. He was the motivational Speaker and top producer at EAS Enterprises from 2014 to 2016. He has been awarded the Best Teacher Award in Public Speaking and Debate and poem recitation in 2016. He became the Director of Education from 2017 to 2019. He became the franchise owner of a Public Speaking and Debate Company in the Silicon Valley before Covid shut it all down in 2020.

Devereaux Boxton - Robotics & Comics Instructor

Devereaux Boxton is a life-long mathematics enthusiast and artist who wants to inspire, motivate and build confidence in young minds. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from Indiana University. His first job was as a Youth Sports Referee for ages 4-12 for the City of San José. It was during these teenage years, he learned his affinity for teaching and coaching. He would soon transition to tutoring during his high school years, and would lead a City of San José after-school program for elementary and middle school children. After working in other industries, Devereaux returns to the classroom to showcase his talents and excitement for education. Some of his passions include sports (soccer currently at the top), preparing and cooking meals, and has been known to dabble in sewing and tailoring.

Yibei (Christy) Gu

Robotics Instructor

Yibei (Christy) Gu is excited about teaching young learners robotics, computer science and teamwork. Christy came from a career as a research and development scientist in the biotech and chemical industries prior to pursuing her passion for teaching. She has over a decade of experience applying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning in academia and industry. She is interested in helping students find their best way of learning and become innovative, independent, and collaborative scientific thinkers. Christy holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a specialization in Computational Perception and Robotics, as well as a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University.

Matthew Peters

Music & Guitar Instructor

Matt has two decades of experience playing Guitar in a variety of styles. He is passionate about teaching the fundamentals of Rhythm and Music Theory and sharing the joy of Music with beginner and intermediate players. He is also a Percussionist trained in Jazz, Latin. He was in the Falcon Sound High School Marching Band & Jazz Band He also received the 2015 Louis Armstrong Award for Drums and performed in professional Jazz Bands and local bands
